Gone are the days when organic items can only be found in weekend markets and bazaars. Healthy living is now made easier with this recently-opened, accessible one-stop shop that offers the best of organic and natural products.

Sugarleaf is an establishment  that  offers nutritious  meals available for both dine-in and to-go, and a mini-mart of locally- sourced organic  produce which they dubbed as Healthy Picks. The name Sugarleaf  came from the plant called stevia, whose leaves possess anti-oxidant  properties and an intense sweetening capability.

With the  tagline  “Foods that  nourish,” one can expect  a wide selection of  goods that  indeed, promote the concept of eating  food free of  artificial  preservatives  and products. Their all-organic produce consisting of fruits, herbs and  vegetables are from the LaToP (La Trinidad organic Practitioners) multi- purpose cooperative farmers. These farmers’ produce has the stamp of  approval  from the Organic Certification Council of the Philippines, an organization that monitors the production of crops. The full line of Goody Kefir, a probiotic drink from the cultured, enzyme-rich kefir that contains good micro-organisms to balance our “inner ecosystem,” is also available at Sugarleaf.

Aside from Healthy Picks, guests can also enjoy healthy meals and drinks that fully utilize fresh produce in their cozy dining area washed with various shades of green. an eclectic mix of different dining sets allows 20 persons to be seated at any time of the day. Filling  food items sans the guilt  is what  one can  expect from their reasonably-priced menu. Their all-day selection consists of sandwiches, Goody wraps, salads, pasta, desserts, healing juices,
snacks, desserts and hot and cold beverages.

The store is also a mini-gallery  for artists and partner non- government organizations  such as circle of Friends Foundation inc., a group that helps disabled countrymen in promoting their beautiful works. handmade mount Pinatubo ash-glazed ceramics are also up for display, wherein proceeds of the sale are donated to the entrepreneur Volunteer  assistance charity Foundation which helps indigenous people in the country.

Sugarleaf  also accepts reservations for private gatherings, perfect for family  reunions and company  meetings. They also hold workshops in the store with  topics that  center mostly on organic farming, healthy cooking and wellness. Sugarleaf  indeed is a one-stop shop for anything  and everything  that  concerns healthy living.
