Literally a hole in the wall restaurant, my cousin Joseph Sanvictores, along with two of his closest friends Phoebe See and Darwin Cardenas decided to put up a business using the extended kitchen of our Lola’s house and converted it into a small bistro. They formally opened just a few months ago and I can’t even remember anymore how many times I’ve eaten there.

A few nights ago, my friend and I decided to eat there again. I decided to order the Pulled Pork Sandwich, which they said, was their bestseller while my friend ordered the Pasta Putanesca. When our orders came, we were so hungry already that we just had to dig in. Both dishes were really delicious! The pork was really tender and the sauce was awesome – it had a hint of sweetness to it so the salty potato chips served its purpose. The pasta on the other hand was cooked perfectly and the sauce was made just right.

After eating our meal, we decided to rest our tummies first before moving on to dessert. That was a different experience altogether. We ordered a slice of Toblerone cake that we agreed to share even if we both know that we can actually finish one slice by ourselves.

After finishing the cake, we were happy as well as our tummies. Every visit in this bistro gives me a different experience every time that I actually can’t wait for my next visit!
