My boyfriend and I celebrated Valentines’ a day after, and I’m glad we did. I hate the crowded feel and poor service that I get from some restaurants because they can’t keep up with the number of customers coming in. So we decided to eat at our favorite Japanese restaurant at Tomas Morato, Zensho—a quaint restaurant which offers you both ala carte or eat all you can dining options! For their eat all you can lunch, the price is P595++, and for dinner it’s P695. Just order loads of salmon sashimi, ebi tempura, U.S. beef teppanyaki and other seafood and it’s like you get your money back! It’s not like the usual buffets like Yakimix and Sambokojin in that there’s no buffet; instead, it’s order all you can.
Also, choose the seats where their very friendly chefs cook teppanyaki right in front of you. This will make your experience special and unique from all your trips to other Japanese restaurants.
Here are our orders:
Kani Salad

US Beef Teppan

Salmon Sashimi, Spicy Tuna Roll

Chicken Teriyaki

Cuttlefish

Mixed Fried Rice (for me)

Seafood Fried Rice (for my date)
Ebi Tempura
Iced Tea
Pandan Gulaman

I promise, what we ordered are just a parcel of what Zensho has to offer! Drinks and dessert are also included. They have all sorts of Teppan, Udon, Curries, Seafood, and many others!
Aside from the teppanyaki bar, they also have a sushi bar, and of course, private tatami-like dining rooms where you leave your shoes outside if you like a quiet intimate dinner.
