  • 100 g bacon , chopped
  • 5 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 whole white onion chopped
  • 3-4 pcs potatoes , unpeeled and cubed
  • 2 cups evaporated milk or cream
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 pc chicken bouillon cube
  • Ground black pepper to taste

steps

  1. Fry bacon until crunchy. Set aside and leave bacon drippings on pan.
  2. Sauté garlic and onion in the pan with bacon drippings, then add the potatoes.
  3. Pour the milk and water. When boiling, add the chicken bouillon cube, then lower the heat, and allow to simmer for about 15 minutes or until potatoes are cooked.
  4. Season with ground black pepper.
  5. Pour in a soup dish. top with the fried bacon. Serve hot.
